- Maintain and manage GL accounts in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
- Perform the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion
- Prepare, review, and post close-related journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and provisions
- Analyse P&L and balance sheet fluctuations, identify root causes, and resolve variances
- Conduct monthly balance sheet review and semi-annual balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation
- Ensure consistency between sub-ledgers and the general ledger
- Act as a key finance contact for external auditors in relation to consolidated audits
- Prepare and review supporting documentation for consolidated financial statementsSupport internal audit activities
- Support overall corporate tax compliance, including consolidated corporate income tax, VAT, and other local taxes
- Prepare and review quarterly current and deferred tax calculations and tax provisions, ensuring consistency with accounting records and consolidated financial statements
- Analyze effective tax rate (ETR) movements and support the preparation of tax-related disclosures for consolidated financial statements
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting firms on tax compliance, reporting, and tax audit-related matters
- Support tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities by preparing required schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Assist with international tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax matters (if applicable)
